The action of Pesky takes place in a small town somewhere in Poland. We witness a conversation between a child welfare officer and Helena and Tadeusz – the parents of socially maladjusted, nearly-sixteen-year-old Zuzanna, who thinks she's a dog. In a series of flashbacks playing out in the minds of the main characters, we see traumatic events from their past.
