The fifty- year-old hero, a loser and a failure, decides, for once in his life, to work up the courage and perform a heroic deed. He kidnaps a female co-worker to free her from her boorish husband and begin a new life to-gether. When he transports her to an empty house belonging to his aunt, he realizes what he has actually done.
