In October 2021, representatives of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage (MKiDN) and the Museum and Institute of Zoology of the Polish Academy of Sciences visited Salzburg. They inspected natural specimens and books. A total of 37 specimens and 46 books identified as Polish wartime losses were discovered. The objects were returned to Poland in 2022.
