Every year, as spring approaches, some Roms arrive in Królowy Most with their caravan. Poultry dies, a fight breaks out at a party, one of the caravans burns down at night. The priest appeals for Polish hospitality and tries to calm the negative emotions. Professor Nasiłko recounts the story of a young archaeologist (A. Grabowska) arriving in the town and the sensational discovery in the dungeons of their church.
