An elegant older gentleman from France arrives in the Republic. It turns out he is a descendant of the Butrymowicz princes, the historical owners of Królowy Most. At his request, the archaeologist shows him around the dungeons in which there are the graves of his ancestors. The authorities of the Republic, influenced by the prince's visit, consider a different form of government: a republic, a kingdom or perhaps a parliamentary monarchy.
