A story about Witold Pilecki, a soldier of the Home Army and the anti-communist underground. He was a prisoner of the Auschwitz concentration camp, he launched a resistance movement there. He was sentenced to death in 1948. The extraordinary trial appeal that took place in 1990 is the starting point of the film. We could see a documentary record of the trial of Pilecki and his friends.
