Ignacy Szczepanski’s documentary film is a record of a jazz improvisation lesson. Piotr Bal, a Polish trumpeter, is taught by a great musician and the dean of the Jazz Department at Roosevelt University in Chicago. Apart from rehearsal shots, we could see shots of the city and fragments of a concert filmed in the Pink Crocodile club.
