The story of the titular Fleischer, a resident of Görlitz, husband and father, and Wehrmacht officer, told through a photo album found by a Polish soldier on the way to Berlin. From idyllic pre-war times, through France, Poland, and Russia, to a growing premonition of the Third Reich’s defeat reflected on the officer’s face.
