A unique record of the nomadic lifestyle of the Polish Roma just before the so-called Great Standstill (1962), when the authorities of the Polish People's Republic decided to stop the gypsy caravans and settle their residents by force. In the film, the "gypsy life" still continues in its traditional rhythm.
