President Lech Walesa opens the “Manggha” Center of Japanese Art and Technology in Cracow. The construction of the first section of the Warsaw underground (only 11 stations, from Kabaty to the University of Technology) has been underway for 11 years. An interesting artistic song festival called "Morda '94" takes place in the Batory High School.
