The Katyn Museum is opening in Sadyba (a district of Warsaw). A meeting of the Parliamentary Club of the Democratic Left Alliance Parliamentary Club takes place in the Column Hall of the Sejm - President Lech Walesa participates in the meeting. The unification congress of the Democratic Union and the Liberal-Democratic Congress, the new formation takes the name of the Freedom Union.
