Maria Buczkowska, a woman from the village of Plebanki, won the ‘Goodbye benefit’ competition for the diaries of the unemployed. The competition was announced by ‘Super Express’. She is a single mother of two children. The cameras of the Polish Film Chronicle record Ms. Maria during her everyday activities and she reads fragments of her diary as a voiceover.
