On the 19th of September, Jacek Kaczmarski summarizes the elections, singing the ballad called ‘Elekcja’. The first results of the polls appear just after the closure of polling stations: the turnout slightly exceeded 50% (the final result was 52%). 16 percent of voters voted for the Democratic Left Alliance (20.4%), 14 percent voted for the Polish People’s Party (15.4%) and 12 percent voted for the Democratic Union (10.6%).
