The feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary took place on the 15th of August 1993. It is the date when when the Catholic church celebrates this feast. This year, a celebrations took place at Jasna Gora. The cameramen of the Polish Film Chronicle go to the village of Tomaszewice near Lublin, where (as rumor has it) in 1988 the Mother of God appeared to one of the farmers.
