The office of president in Poland has traditions dating back to 1922. On 9 December, Gabriel Narutowicz was elected the first president of Poland. His successors were Stanisław Wojciechowski, Ignacy Mościcki and Władysław Raczkiewicz. On 25 November 1990, Poles will elect another president.
