The “Zawisza Czarny”, the flagship yacht of the Polish Scouting Association left Gdynia for its first voyage around the world on 19 March 1989. In October and November, it crossed the Pacific from Nakhodka past Japan to Vancouver, and then to Seattle and San Francisco. The “Zawisza” safely returned to the port of Gdynia on Friday 13 April.
