Ceremonies on the 1st of May: at first, citizens of merit are awarded at the Belvedere, then a parade takes place at Parade Square – there are banners, folklore bands, workers and employees from particular districts, and finally a group of young people. 100 000 people have joined the Polish United Workers’ Party over the last year.
