Virtuti Militari crosses for soldiers who put up the first border marker over the Oder river. The rebuilt Town Hall has been put into operation on the 25th anniversary of the liberation of Gdansk. The play entitled ‘Ulisses’ (based on the novel by James Joyce), written by Maciej Slomczynski and directed by Zygmunt Hübner is staged in the ‘Wybrzeze’ Theatre in Gdansk.
