[The 3rd Millennium] Congress of Polish Culture takes place at the Grand Theater – a three-day meeting of artists from different backgrounds, scientists and intellectuals. They deliberate on the issue of the Millennium. The unveiling of the Monument to the Heroes of Westerplatte takes place in Gdansk. Graduates of 14 officer schools and 3 military universities make a vow in Victory (Pilsudski) Square in Warsaw.
