Leon Kruczkowski, a writer, playwright and a cultural activist, has died. The ‘Warszawa’ smelter is important for Mlociny (a district of Warsaw). The Helsinki Festival is underway: sports competitions and a Polish artistic evening, which took place in the pouring rain, but it was a successful event. Among the performers were: Barbara Rylska, Bogumil Kobiela and Zdzisław Lesniak.
