The Primate of Poland, cardinal Stefan Wyszynski, goes to Rome. The Days of Wroclaw – the event created in order to underline the fact that Wroclaw and other towns located near Wroclaw belong to Poland. The event was dominated by students. The ‘Boleslaw Bierut’ ship starts its maiden voyage to Asia. On deck of the ‘Nowotko’ ship, there are people who cross the equator for the first time in their lives.
