The election day to the Sejm – 26 October 1952. On the eve of the elections, a rally was held in Warsaw’s Mirowska Hall, during which First Secretary of the PUWP and prime minister Bolesław Bierut thanked citizens for nominating him as a parliamentary candidate and declared his full commitment to the country’s socio-political life.
