“The Entire Nation Greets Its President.” On 18 April 1952, president Bolesław Bierut turned 60. On this occasion, he was awarded the Order of Builder of People’s Poland. At Belweder Palace, a commemorative guest book was displayed for signatures and greetings. During the official ceremony at the Polish Theatre, leading politicians delivered speeches, a congratulatory letter from Stalin.
