Wincenty Witos has died – the great activist says goodbye to Cracow and Wierzchoslawice, his hometown. Three submarines and ‘Dar Pomorza’ return to Gdynia. The ships were interned in Sweden during the war. Contrary to propaganda, former prisoners of concentration and POW camps are returning to the country from the west. They had been taken to Germany as slave labour.
