The signing of the Treaty (Pact) of Friendship, Mutual Assistance, and Postwar Cooperation between the Soviet Union and Poland. On April 21, 1945, at the Kremlin, the treaty was signed by Polish prime minister Edward Osóbka-Morawski on behalf of the State National Council and by Joseph Stalin on behalf of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR.
