The first Polish crime film and at the same time the only crime film made by master of Polish comedy film Stanisław Bareja - a director, screenwriter and actor, hailed the best comedy film director of the century in Poland. The plot is inspired by a real heist carried out in the second half of 1950s near Pleszew by unknown offenders, who killed four people - two cashiers, a guard and a driver. The film was made with assistance from the state police.
