A realistic family drama touching on problems and dilemmas which still exist today. One of the first films directed by Jerzy Passendorfer, a war film specialist best known for his TV series “Janosik”. An adaptation of Jerzy Przeździecki’s novel “Jeszcze jeden do kochania”. The film features outstanding performances by Lidia Korsakówna, who until then had been known mainly for her comedic roles, and six-year-old Grzegorz Roman, for whom it was his first appearance on the big screen. An effectively journalistic film about the complicated situation of a child from a dysfunctional family, which is loved, but at the same time neglected and hurt. The authors pose difficult questions, leaving judgments and answers to the audience.
