An original film by Stanisław Lenartowicz, an artist who after being unappreciated for many years is presently considered the “master of atomsphere” and one of the greatest creators of Polish cinema. “Spotkania” is a personal message about various types of love. It utilizes an unusual plot structure: the main story is interrupted by three autonomous novellas made to look like vintage movies. The script is based on novels by famous Polish writers: Marek Hłasko (“Śliczna dziewczyna”), Kornel Makuszyński (“Zuchwała panienka”), Jarosław Iwaszkiewicz (“Stracona noc”) and Stanisław Dygat (“Lotnisko”).
