A light, charming romantic comedy in a classic retro style. An adaptation of the play “Znajda” (Orphan) by Roman Niewiarowicz, which premiered in 1941 at Teatr Komedia. The Polish debut of Anna Prucnal, an actress and singer who made a singing career after leaving to France; she also starred in the movie “City of Women” by Federico Fellini. The film’s atmosphere is emphasized by a romantic score composed by Krzysztof Komeda.
