An emotional, romantic story of a love destroyed by the war. Great roles of Elżbieta Czyżewska, Mieczysław Voit and Aleksander Bielawski, a Soviet actor frequently playing in Polish films. The screenplay was based on a radio play “Prawie tysiąc czwartków” by Jerzy Janicki and Andrzej Mularczyk, legendary screenwriters who also worked together on the TV series “Dom”. Mularczyk is also known for his trilogy about the Kargul and Pawlak families, while Janicki’s most renowned achievements include the TV series “Polskie drogi” and “Ballada o Januszku”. A bitter story of the unfulfilled love between a Polish girl and a Soviet pilot, presented with the use of the dual timeline technique.
